HMCTS have announced that the Bristol Civil Justice Centre will re-open on Tuesday 14 November 2017 (HMCTS Letter available here). The building has been closed for several months after it suffered flood damage. Whilst the building has been closed, hearings have been relocated to a number of different venues, including Bristol Magistrates Court, Bristol Crown Court and Bath Magistrates Court.

A counter service for the County Court has been operating in Bristol Magistrates Court during the closure. HMCTS have warned that there will be no counter service available on Monday 13 November 2017 pending their relocation to Bristol Civil Justice Centre the following day
