Observed at Court

Within 6 weeks of the advocate’s first case, an assistant advocacy manager observes them at court and grades their performance according to the same criteria as the assessment centre. Advocates are interviewed to ensure they have adopted good working practices and are fully versed on relevant case authorities. The advocate is advised on any areas for improvement.
