Adam Yusof-Othman
LLB (Hons), LPC graduate. Joined LPC in July 2008, South Western Circuit.

I secured a training contract
before successfully applying to
LPC but I found it hard to obtain
a paralegal position with firms
because I lacked commercial
and legal experience. LPC has
given me the experience I
required as well as the
opportunity to handle my own
workload, improve my advocacy
technique and increase my
confidence at court. In respect
of the level of responsibility
afforded to an LPC advocate I
am sure that it is of a much
higher level than I would be
afforded as a trainee in a firm.
Another advantage of working
as an LPC advocate is the
support and training you
receive before attending your
first hearing. In comparison
with other agencies it is clear
why LPC is the market leader;
if the unexpected occurs at
court we are better trained to
deal with it and if necessary,
we know we can contact
an advocacy manager
for guidance.
